Carrying on with the languages theme of this blog, I’m very excited about our second orienteering course at the school! Our first course was in German, teaching the students the colours and now our new course is in French. It has been a big hit with both the PE, the MFL and the Outdoor Education department at the school! The markers were made by our 6th form DofE students and really look the part.
The course really inspires our language students in lessons and gives them a cross-curricular approach to their language learning. Follow up work can include literacy and numeracy activities to cement their understanding. If you’d like some of these making, get in touch…
